💡 General Tipping Etiquette

Tipping is not common in Fiji.

🍽️ Restaurants

It is not customary to leave a tip on the table. Check if the waiter is open for tips, if yes, a couple of dollars up to 10 % are suggested.

🏨 Hotels

Tipping individuals is not common. Usually there is a “Christmas Fund”, a box where you can tip for all workers in the hotel. The amount is up to you, about 5-10$ per day is suitable. 

👨‍🌾Tour guides

Not expected, but appreciated (a few dollars). Asking the owner of the company is recommended.
