🍽️ Restaurants

The standard tip for waiters in restaurants and botequims is 10% and is often included in the bill

🚕 Taxis

Taxi drivers are usually not tipped, but it’s customary to round up the fare to the next Real.

$R1 – $R2 upon arrival and when leaving, a few $R at the end of the stay for cleaning staff. Avoid leaving money for the maid each day, as it’s best to tip them upon leaving the hotel.
